Creating a detailed, accurate wax pattern by hand can be a costly and time-consuming step in a laboratory’s pressing workflow. With Ivoclar Vivadent’s new Digital Press Design Wax Tree 3Shape® Software, you can now digitalize this step while maintaining the reliability and properties of the press technique.
An add-on module for 3Shape scanners, the software allows you to design and print a 3D wax pattern and press the printed sprued restorations with IPS e.max Press. This new printing technology allows you to automatically nest multiple wax pattern restorations onto a wax tree base. After printing on a 3D printer, the final wax tree is easily attached to the investment base cylinder and ready to be pressed.
