I first met Robert Ganley (right) in 1988 or ’89 when he was Executive Vice President of Operations of Ivoclar North America. It was only a couple of years since Buffalo-based Williams Gold Refining merged with Ivoclar AG and Vivadent of Schaan, Liechtenstein. The meeting centered on marketing trends and how that would affect dentistry. Bob presented a host of key industry data and financial substantiation to round out the research that supported the company’s hunch about what was on the horizon.
