Dr. Gordon Christensen at Argen Event: 'Dentists and Labs Need to Get Remarried'

"In the U.S., dentists and labs tend to be divorced; they need to get remarried. We’re a team and we need to understand each other better. We need to adopt more of the European model of dentist-technician interaction,” said Gordon Christensen, DDS, MSD, PhD, during his keynote address, The Future of Dentistry, at the Argen Corp.’s Future of Digital Dentistry event in San Diego in November.
This “remarriage” is especially critical in light of the fact that today’s dentists are receiving less technical training in dental school and, like laboratories, are facing an overwhelming number of technological options.
