DOF USA Launches Freedom™ HD and Swing™ Scanners, Sharp™ 5-Axis Mill

LAB DAY attendees got a look at three new products from DOF USA, Chantilly, VA, which offers products from South Korean-based manufacturer DOF:



  • An upgrade of the Freedom Scanner, the Freedom HD features Stable Scan Stage scanning for scanning without use of a jig or fixture, an expanded scanning stage to easily scan any large or metal articulators, all-in-one scanning of upper and lower cases in a single step, an upgraded 2.0 megapixel camera and faster USB 3.0 processing.

  • Swing Scanner’s unique compact, open design also allows scanning of articulators. Compatible with Exoscan software, it offers fast USB 3.0 processing and a 1.3 megapixel camera. Both the Freedom HD and Swing scanners can scan implant scanbodies and output to any design platform.

  • Sharp 5-Axis Mill mills single abutments, screw-retained crowns and full arch implant bridges from zirconia, PMMA and wax. Its internal steel components improve milling speed and durability and the unit...
