CNC Group Expands Benefits, Seeks New Members

During its annual meeting last month in Chicago, the CNC Group—a buying power group that includes more than 60 independent laboratories—announced several new benefits for its members, including discounted prices on tax credit consulting, payroll processing and human resource services. In addition, the Group has contracted with a prosthodontist to provide surgical guide consultation and review CT scans for members.

Founded in 2003, the CNC Group* offers its members discounted pricing on products, equipment and services from about 20 vendors, most of whom are dental laboratory product manufacturers/suppliers. For example, members are saving as much as 46% on zirconia and 50% on cutting tools and handpiece burs. It also has contracts with service providers, such as UPS, and some of the member labs are saving thousands of dollars a month on shipping.
