California Lab Exudes Cool Factor

IDOC Dental Laboratory isn’t your typical operation. Staff members have titles like “The Lab Geek,” “Communication Diva” and “Digital Monster.” The departments also have catchy names: “Metal Central,” “Porcelain Empire” and “Digital Domain.”

The cool factor in this full service lab can be credited to “Chief Rainmaker” Jayme Hong, CEO. In 2012, Hong took over managing the business when Owner Steven Park decided to step away from daily operations after running the lab for 11 years. “I wanted to create a different culture in our lab and inject a little bit of fun into our workday since we spend so many hours of our lives here,” she says.
