Amann Girrbach Showcases Additions to Ceramill® DNA Generation

Amann Girrbach’s ballroom was brimming with activity, as LAB DAY Chicago was the first time all of the Ceramill DNA Generation equipment has been on display. Launched last fall, the line includes:



  • Ceramill Mikro 4-axis, a dry mill mainly designed for processing zirconia, wax, PMMA, soft metal and hybrid ceramics.

  • Ceramill Mikro 5-axis, that offers additional dry milling indications such as splints, bars and other complex restorations.

  • Ceramill Mikro IC, a wet mill for glass ceramics and coming soon, for zirconia and PMMA.

  • Ceramill Motion 2, a five-axis, dry/wet mill for a wide variety of materials and indications. 

  • Ceramill Map400 scanner.


The latest addition to the Ceramill DNA Generation line is the Ceramill Therm S sintering oven.  Its two-hour sintering cycle doesn’t impact the shade, strength or translucency of the zirconia,...
