Glidewell Laboratories' CloudPoint™ Offers Economical Way to Transition to Full Contour Production

LAB DAY attendees got their first look at Glidewell Laboratories’ CloudPoint, a line of equipment, software and services that offers an economical means of transitioning to the CAD/CAM production of full contour restorations. The entire digital workflow is cloud-based, so it doesn’t require in-house IT support, server space or other technological resources typically required to go digital. Labs only need an internet connection to get started.


The CloudPoint System includes:



  • CloudPoint FastScan™, a high-resolution, high-speed scanner that simultaneously scans the solid model, and opposing model and die on an open-air scanning platform that accommodates large articulators. After scanning, cases are automatically uploaded to the cloud, where they can be designed by the lab or forwarded to an experienced CAD/CAM specialist at the Glidewell Outsource Milling Center.
