5 Ways Technology has Transformed C&B Caseloads

LMT’s report offers a peek into the case pans of laboratories all over the country and examines how digital technology has impacted crown and bridge workloads.
1. Two thirds (67%) of all C&B restorations are now fabricated using digital technology. This is a 20-percentage-point increase since 2015*, when just under half of C&B was fabricated digitally (see graph) While the lab community’s affinity for digital workflows and zirconia in particular is instrumental in this huge increase, it’s worth noting that dentist-clients’ acceptance of the technology seems to have surged in just the last few years.
