Great information and new production process for Zirconia teeth and Implant
Additive manufacturing of ceramics for restorations, implants and bioresorbable bone scaffolds is made possible by lithography-based ceramic manufacturing (LCM). Dr. Daniel Bomze and Shawn Allan demonstrate how the process produces a green ceramic part that is then sintered to full density. They evaluate the quality of finished ceramics and present restoration materials including zirconia and lithium disilicate for crowns and veneers; ceramics for implants such as zirconia-toughened alumina and silicon nitride; and resorbable bone scaffolds produced from tricalcium phosphate and hydroxyapatite, all produced with the same ceramic printer.
