WHIP MIX offers 3D-printed models, including full-arch models for $16, quadrant models for $8 and POM/Peace-of-mind models for $7. Models come in two finishes: for a gypsum model-like texture, they are printed on 3D Systems’ 3510 printer in Pearl stone resin colors (white, blue and ivory). For a smooth plastic-like finish, models are printed on Asiga printers in golden brown, ivory and white. White orthodontic models are printed without dies. The company also prints surgical guides for $100, C&B burnout patterns for $7 and RPD burnout patterns for $15.
