3D BIOCAD offers its own brand of zirconia copings and full contour units, printed models, printed wax, custom abutments and more. Using a 3Shape scanner or any other open-architecture scanner, laboratories can submit .stl files for fabrication. Labs working with a closed system can also send files; the company uses the 3Shape Model Builder module to open the file and fabricate the case. The company uses 3Shape scanners, Roeders and Roland DWX-51 mills, and Stratasys Objet30 OrthoDesk and Stratasys Objet260/Objet500 Dental Selection printers.
