Worn implant hybrid cases completed over the past few decades offer a tremendous market potential for the laboratory. Stephen Balshi, MBE, discusses revitalizing these cases using the AvaDent Retread Procedure, which restores the hybrid prostheses to proper function and esthetics and makes it more durable than when it was originally constructed. He also covers the launch of AvaDent Accelerset, which provides a new fully automated restoration not subject to the same occlusal wear as traditional hybrids and is esthetically superior to a fully milled zirconia prosthesis.
