A dentist-client contacts you to take a custom shade for a difficult case; your pulse rate increases; and you become anxious to ensure a proper presentation in front of your client as well as the patient. You go over your checklist on what you know; are you missing anything? Dr. Mark Murphy explains how to properly take shade and be prepared to professionally assess shade with a live patient.
