Regulations take a long time to either create or modify. Both OSHA and FDA had to react quickly to the unique circumstances of the pandemic and address safety concerns for workers and patients. Gary Morgan, CDT, CQA/ASQ, discusses how compliance in 2021 has been affected, focusing on OSHA requirements for infection control, PPE, training and recordkeeping. FDA compliance is also reviewed.
