Digital Technology in Fixed Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry

Konstantinos Chochlidakis, DDS, offers an introduction to CAD/CAM technology, different digital workflows in fixed prosthodontics and descriptions of two major CAM techniques. He also discusses the use of digital technology in implant dentistry, the pros and cons of digital technology, the utilization of digital intraoral impressions, lab scanners and different milling machines in a University environment and the importance of good communication between technicians and clinicians.
