Creating the Virtual Patient 3D Digital Smile Design

A comprehensive smile design should always include the evaluation and analysis of both facial and dental composition. By combining 3D face scanning, TRIOS IOS and CT scan, smile design, orthodontic and surgical design software and augmented reality technology, the dental team can preview the new smile, make revisions and create that exact smile, tooth shape and position in a ceramic restoration. Lee Culp presents a step-by-step procedure for analyzing and creating anterior tooth shape with printed diagnostic models, PMMA, and ceramic restorations.
