McFatter Technical College Seeks Students for Dental Technology Program

The Dental Laboratory Technology program at McFatter Technical College in Davie, FL, is looking to enroll students in its program to meet industry demand. “We have a shortage of qualified technicians to fill the jobs available nationwide,” says Fred Isaac, Program Director. “We are currently enrolling new students for our fall class.”
The program—one of 16 ADA-accredited programs in the U.S. and the only one in Florida—opened in the 1980s and has graduated nearly 450 technicians. The 18-month program is held from 8:00am to 2:30pm; costs $6,514 for Florida residents; and covers dental science, oral anatomy, complete and removable partials dentures, orthodontic and pedodontic appliances, single and multi-unit restorations, and implants.
