Henry Schein Acquires Custom Automated Prosthetics

Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC), the world’s largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, animal health and medical practitioners, announced today that its laboratory supply business, Zahn Dental, acquired Custom Automated Prosthetics (CAP), a digital laboratory supply company serving U.S. dental labs. The addition of CAP to Henry Schein’s laboratory supply business will provide a full suite of innovative, interoperable solutions, services and support that meet the individual needs of dental laboratory customers.

Founded in 2010 with headquarters in Stoneham, Massachusetts, CAP had sales for 2015 of approximately $30 million and has more than 60 employees.
