Budny New Chairman at NYCCT Department of Restorative Dentistry

Renata Budny, MBA, MDT, CDT, FNGS—a long-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at New York City College of Technology (NYCCT)—has been named Chairman of the department, effective July 1. An industry veteran of over 21 years, Budny is a 1999 alumnus of the program and joined the department in 2004. She’s certified in Crown & Bridge and Ceramics and also holds a BBA in Management and an MBA in Banking and Finance.

Well known in the industry for her involvement in many associations and societies, Budny currently serves as a Board Member for the Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology, NADL and Northeastern Gnathological Society. She’s also served as President and Clinic Director for the Greater New York CDT Study Group, and a Site Visitor and Curriculum Consultant for the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
