Responsibilities
Ceramic Restoration Fabrication: Design, fabricate, and customize high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, and implant-supported prosthetics. Collaboration: Work closely with prosthodontists to ensure restorations match patients' needs and treatment plans,including discussing case specifications and ensuring clinical outcomes align with aesthetic expectations. Material Expertise: Utilize a variety of dental ceramics and materials to achieve optimal results in both aesthetics and functionality. Shade Matching and Color Selection: Accurately assess and match patient tooth shades and achieve natural-looking restorations that blend seamlessly with surrounding teeth. Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail in the fabrication of all restorations, ensuring they meet or exceed clinical requirements. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in dental ceramics and prosthodontics. Attend ongoing training sessions and industry events. Troubleshooting & Adjustments: Evaluate and adjust restorations as necessary, collaborating with the clinical team to address any issues or concerns that may arise during treatment.
Qualifications
A degree or certification in Dental Technology (or equivalent experience). Master Ceramist certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a dental ceramist, with proven expertise in creating custom ceramic restorations for prosthodontics. Experience with both traditional and digital fabrication techniques is highly preferred. Prior experience working in a high-end, multidisciplinary or prosthodontic practice is a plus.
