Whether monolithic, layered or micro-layered, zirconia-based restorations have quickly become the go-to for clinicians and laboratories alike. One of the most exciting advances in the category of oxide ceramics, IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime has now been expanded to include a more translucent option for single unit restorations and 3-unit bridges.  With its natural shade gradient from cervical to incisal edge, ZirCAD Prime Esthetic provides the ultimate natural shade result for monolithic restorations while still offering the lab the option for microlayering to further enhance esthetics when matching the single anterior restoration.

In this 1-day course, participants will learn techniques and tips for creating beautiful zirconia-based restorations. IPS e.max Ceram will be used to enhance anterior esthetics with simple micro-layering techniques followed by characterization and glazing of both layered and monolithic restorations with the IPS Ivocolor universal shading system.
