One of the biggest challenges in today’s CAD/CAM practice is to produce anterior restorations that are not only functionally correct, but also esthetically pleasing. The objectives of the course are to provide theoretical and hands-on training in staining and glazing techniques of chairside ceramics for dentists, assistants and/or hygienists working in CAD/CAM offices.
Topics include:
- Block selection criteria and utilizing the shade navigation app
- Creating natural contours and surface texture for veneers, crowns, and bridges
- Achieving natural shade effects on IPS e.max CAD and e.max ZirCAD restorations
- Glazing techniques for completing a veneer, posterior crown, and anterior bridge
- Proper surface treatment for adhesive cementation
