One of the biggest challenges in today’s CAD/CAM practice is to produce anterior restorations that are not only functionally correct, but also esthetically pleasing. The objectives of the course are to provide theoretical and hands-on training in staining and glazing techniques of chairside ceramics for dentists, assistants and/or hygienists working in CAD/CAM offices. Topics covered will include:
- Creating natural contours and surface texture for veneers, crowns, and bridges
- Staining and glazing of IPS Empress® and IPS e.max® CAD restorations
- Polishing IPS Empress® CAD Multi crowns
- Proper surface treatment for adhesive cementation
- Completing a veneer, posterior crown, and anterior bridge
