Thayer Dental Laboratory 40th Anniversary

Gregory M. Thayer, CDT, FICOI, established Thayer Dental Laboratory as a crown and bridge specialty laboratory in 1976. By 1983 the business was recognized by INC. Magazine as part of the INC. 500. In an effort to augment its organic growth, Thayer Dental Laboratory acquired a few smaller laboratories to acquire both skilled technicians and new customers. The laboratory has been Nationally Certified since 1985 with eight Certified Dental Technicians and one Master Dental Technician on staff.

The laboratory’s current location in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is the result of a custom design and build project that resulted in a 12,000 square foot, full service laboratory. This state-of-the-art facility continues to serve the dental profession with leading-edge technologies including an array of digital scanning, CAD/CAM printing and milling systems.
