System Overview


The Baltic Denture System (BDS) from Merz Dental GmbH and distributed by Sterngold in North America features the BDCreator® PLUS software and advanced BDLoad® milled materials.


Technicians can integrate any type of removable prosthetic interocclusal record and final impression by importing digital scans and then can design a complete single arch and immediate digital dentures. The occlusion can be modified using the fully adjustable virtual articulator and then milled into the final restoration.


When designing complete immediate dentures, teeth are removed and the residual ridge is contoured with the software. The digital designs are based on established setup principles that include anatomical landmarks, complete model analysis and established averages that result in a clinically correct tooth arrangement.
