Matching a single anterior is always a bit of a challenge for any ceramist but it’s a challenge I enjoy; I get a sense of accomplishment when the patient loves the final restoration and it matches the natural dentition beautifully.
Restorative Challenge
One of my general dentists called me to discuss restoring a single central immediate-load Thommen implant on tooth #8. The patient, a high-level sales associate with a large media firm, had cosmetic concerns and wanted to match her natural dentition as closely as possible.
