Philip Kim earned his MBA in 2014 and has put it to good use. In 2013, while in grad school, he co-founded K2 Dental Arts, a digital lab in Charlottesville, VA, and, after honing his expertise there, applied those skills to Paramount Dental Studio, his father’s lab in Huntington Beach, CA, becoming CEO in 2014.

At Paramount Dental Studio, he brought in more digital technology, increased efficiencies and focused on word-of-mouth marketing, expanding the lab from a 40-person operation to one with a nationwide presence and more than 200 employees. Now, 80% of the lab’s work is digital and it’s one of the largest processors of iTero scans in the country.

“Paramount processes tens of thousands of cases every month and Philip is responsible for troubleshooting the most difficult issues. He’s the master of efficiency, a business genius and clinical savant,” says Ares Manos, another Co-Owner of K2 Dental Arts.
