Model-less Workflow Becomes a Reality

This shift in technology usage in the dental office has been welcome news among laboratories looking to reap the benefits of a completely digital workflow and an increasing number of laboratories are able to embrace the model-less concept.

Between 2017 and 2021, for instance, the percentage of labs doing some work without a model more than doubled from 22% to 53%, allowing them to eliminate even more steps of the fabrication process, reduce labor and materials costs as well as production and turnaround times.
