In college, Julia Valentino studied organic chemistry, but she found her true passion in the dental lab industry.
After working for a few years as a model technician in a small lab, she was ready to spread her wings. “I was intrigued by the dental lab world and wanted to diversify my skills,” says Valentino. She began apprenticing at a larger, full-service lab, where she learned all facets of CAD/CAM technology and became PTC-certified in anatomy and morphology. After her apprenticeship, she stayed on to help manage the lab’s digital workflow and train new employees.
