When Barry Lampert, CDT, founded Town & Country Dental Studios in 1962, PFM technology was in its infancy. He began beta testing different porcelains and non-precious alloys and embraced the new technology in his laboratory. To maximize production and improve efficiency, he quickly realized the easiest way to produce a consistent porcelain-fused-to-metal crown was by using step production. Considered an innovative production method at the time, it’s just one example of the lab’s continuous focus on cutting-edge processes and technologies that has been instrumental in its 61 years of success.
