Expression through Art

Ana Carter, Vice President of Boling & Dean Lab in Columbus, OH, comes by her artistic talents naturally. The Cuban-born painter’s family is full of artists from all genres—musical, dramatic and visual—and she learned to draw from her brother at a young age.

Her Art in the Park submissions (including the one shown below) are representative of her abstract style, done with acrylic paints. 

Carter paints a few times a month and finds it’s a great stress reliever. “There’s not really that much planning behind abstract art; you just paint. I’ll take the brush and whatever vision comes out of it, comes out of it,” she says.
