Hi Margot. the abrasion has to do with the surface hardness of your restoration and not the Flexural strength of the material. and this is controllable by treating the occlusion surface with certain kinds of rubber wheels. but in general and before surface treatment, absolutely the emax CAD is less abrasive than the Incoris.

Since our last discussion on zirconia, I've been told during a Cerec SW4.0 presentation that inCoris TZI is less abrasive than e.max CAD. What are your views on this?

Some research shows well polished zr is the least abrasive material. when you put a glaze on it, up the scale it goes.

Margot, the studies are absolutely right full count our Zr is lees wears natural enamel lees than Zr, but don't forget if your Dr. Makes any occulsal adjustments; which is always the case, unless you make it out of occulusion but then there goes ur cusp...[More] to fossau or marginal ridge and teeth are mobile...
