With the Power Week 4-in-1 – Dental Expert Training, the Swiss School of Prosthetics (SSOP) is once again offering an intensive continuing education program for dental technicians, prosthodontists, and dentists in 2026. From September 21 to 25, 2026, the five-day training course in Zurich will provide practice-relevant expertise in modern complete dentures.
Power Week combines the content of several coordinated courses into a holistic learning concept. The analog workflow for fabricating a complete denture is examined and implemented, from model analysis with functional and aesthetic planning through to the completion of the denture. With the fundamentals acquired, both analog and digital processes can be implemented and evaluated.
Content and Learning Objectives of Power Week 2026
During Power Week, participants will acquire the following competencies, among others:
- Independent model analysis, planning, and fabrication of a complete denture
- Application of lingualized occlusion according to the GERBER concept
- Functional and aesthetic design of prostheses
- Individual and natural-looking gingival characterization
The practice-oriented approach enables participants to apply what they have learned directly in the laboratory and to firmly integrate it into their daily professional practice, ensuring a reliable replication of the analog workflow from analysis to the finished prosthesis
In addition to the intensive training program, Power Week offers participants the opportunity to experience Switzerland.
