These 12 states have some form of dental laboratory regulation legislation: Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Oregon, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington. The requirements vary by state and may include requirements regarding laboratory registration, point of origin and/or material disclosure, and employing a CDT or a technician who completes a specific number of continuing education credits per year.
