Sixty-eight percent of laboratories market their services to dentist-clients. Wondering how your efforts compare to those of your peers? Here’s the data from LMT’s latest Marketing Survey*.
- 29% of them set an annual marketing budget. Of that group, the majority spend 1-2% of their annual revenue on marketing activities.
- 35% of them track their overall marketing efforts. Various strategies include asking new accounts where they heard of the lab, monitoring usage of coupons or other offers, watching website traffic before and after a sales campaign and tracking the number of opened emails or online clicks.
- 18% of them take a different approach when targeting recent dental school graduates vs. established dentists. For instance, when targeting a younger client, they’re more likely to use an online approach like social media, share samples of their work
