Robert Kreyer, CDT, is a third-generation technician and received his technical training from the U.S. Army Medical Field Service School. He is a member of the American Prosthodontic Society, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and past Chair of the American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Alliance; has published numerous articles on removable prosthodontics; and writes a technical column for Inside Dental Technology magazine. Kreyer has also received several awards including the American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Leadership Award in 2010, the NBC's 2011 CDT of the Year and received the Rudd Award at the American Prosthodontic Society's 2014 Annual Meeting.

Robert Kreyer CDT is a third generation dental technician and received his technical training from the US Army Medical Field Service School and education as member of various prosthodontic study groups at the University of California San Francisco and University of Southern California. He is a member of the Executive Council for the American Prosthodontic Society, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and past Chair of the The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Alliance. Mr. Kreyer is a continuing education provider for the Dental Board of California and National Board of Certification in Dental Technology. He is a Biofunctional Prosthetic System Technical Instructor for Ivoclar Vivadent, and a Certified Instructor for Candulor in Zurich, Switzerland. Robert has written numerous articles on removable prosthodontics and currently has a book contract with Wiley-Blackwell. In 2010 Robert Kreyer was the first recipient of The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Leadership Award and in January of 2011 was selected by the National Board of Certification in Dental Technology as their 2011 CDT of the Year. From November 2010 to November 2012 Robert Kreyer was the Director of Removable and Implant Prosthetics at Microdental/dti in Dublin, California. During this two-year period he was responsible for training technicians in removable prosthetics, increasing technical efficiency, division productivity, improving technical/clinical communication with dentists, establishing a collaborative relationship with dentists, increasing revenue and profitability in the Removable and Implant Prosthetics Division. Robert is now a partner at Custom Prosthetics in Los Gatos, California, an author/lecturer in removable prosthodontics, and consultant to dental manufacturors.
