LMT's LAB DAY EAST—the largest dental laboratory trade show on the East Coast—was the place to be to research digital technology. This year, of the 93 exhibitors, over 40 companies offered the latest scanners, milling and rapid prototyping machines, wax printers, software, materials and services, allowing attendees to see products up close and personal and comparison shop.

The Harvest Dental Laboratory Products' exhibit table was hopping all weekend thanks to an impressive lineup of master ceramists. Jungo Endo, RDT; Thomas Singh, MDT; Peter Pizzi, MDT; Nondas Vlachopoulos, CDT; Joshua Polansky, MDT; and Richard Pavlak, MDT, gave hands-on demonstrations of the company's newest products, including two launched at LAB DAY:
• The Signature Brush Line, manufactured by ceramic brush and accessory company M.P.F., features four brushes developed by and named after Endo, Singh, Pizzi and Vlachopoulos. Each ceramist used his signature brush during his demonstration.
• Inspired by Peter Pizzi, MDT, the Evolution Ceramic Palette features a new, sleek design and comes equipped with a slide-in, retractable, 18-well stain tray and an integrated utility sponge. The ceramic powders stay in optimal working condition thanks to the powder-wetting technology, a combination of a polished glass slab and an absorbent material that pulls water from the reservoir underneath....
