Paul Patella is a former Owner of a laboratory that specialized in implant prosthetics. He graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard School of Dental Technology in 1980 and has studied dental technology throughout the U.S. and Europe. Patella now focuses on digital dentistry and how this affects the workflow between laboratories, restorative dentists and implant specialists.
According to LMT's 2012 Wage Survey, earnings are down overall from 2010; for instance, regardless of experience level, Stain and Glaze Ceramists are earning 9% less and Buildup Ceramists are making 8% less.
