SEO ensures that your target audience has the ability to quickly find your laboratory's website through a search engine; it's what gets your website found and helps build traffic to your site.
When it comes to profitability I would say this: Compete on value NOT price.
Ask yourself "How can I...See more bring more value, service, convenience, assurance, speed, or novelty to the service I am offering?"
This is how you can set yourself apart. This is how you can prevent your service from becoming a commodity, and how you can make your business engaging.
You are only limited by your imagination.
Old School Lessons from Future Past
According to LMT's 2013 Dentist Survey, lab owners are sometimes hesitant to raise their fees, fearful of losing the account. Yet 53% of dentists surveyed feel it’s reasonable for a laboratory to increase prices once a year by an average of 3.3%. Twenty-nine percent think an increase—an average of 4.6—every two years is more acceptable.
