New DOCERAM Product Line: Teeth like Pearls - Tuesday, November 05, 2013
The trend towards monolithic...See more restorations made from full zirconia is unbroken.
As one of the pioneers of dental CAD / CAM, DOCERAM Medical Ceramics sets a further milestone: pre-colored zirconia in dentine shades: NACERA Pearl.
This dentine shade pre-colored blanks made from zirconia ease the technician's job significantly for preparation of full-contour restorations, the manual work is reduced to a minimum.
The complete elimination is possible within the molar area.
This was achieved by the new PCR-color concept that allows a completely free choice of colors in the range of dentin shades.
New colors are available within the entire spectrum of the VITA© Classic colors, also in the area of previously impossible VITA C and D colors.

Which will be the factor that really alters the buying decision towards a prospective element in the lab on in the dental office?
What about the sales representatives that try to convince or sale the new or better said, renovated products that are already making their marks in the industry?
The reality comes to âhow much will you sell it forâ and not on â how good is it for youâ. Not trying to apply and individual concept or mentality, not trying to sell a product specifically, nor a new crazy idea that will suffice the need for need vendors, markets or training on people.
This new simple adventure will not only commercialize a dental product in an even greater opportunity, but instead, will supply the personnel on this new era of the Dental world, with a fresh new vision.
Today, most of the more knowledgeable technicians, dentist, surgeons and else could probably be âbaby boomersâ, am I wrong? If so, then the time to start covering the sun with not only one finger but all of the thumbs in the world, needs to begin.
What are the real concerns that as career empowering elements in the Dental society, without relevance of which branch we are practicing, are afraid of?
Is it the lack of communication between peers?, is it the lack of understanding of the purpose?, or maybe the unbalanced salaries across the field?
What about the ego of those who want to grab all and like sand, just bypass thru their fingers? What about my own incompetency to share the knowledge that so hard have been accrued thru the years and manifested at the moment that âEVERYTHING is going BANANASâ?
Is it really fear?, self steam?, selfishness?,â IDEOCRACYâ orâ MEDIOCRAZYâ?, blindness?. What else? I cannot continue, I cannot know.
Once upon a time the opportunity to enjoy life with so many commodities, was overrated. President Washington was suffering of a misery smile. I know, I know, who am I to judge it right?. Well is true. Now days you get a mismatched shade on a temporary crown and the expressions are, to be decent, âjust looks awfulâ.
The misunderstanding between relaxed and stress has not been properly understand by the ones involved.
We canât plan to change the ârules of engagementâ within the field, yet, trying to open up the opportunities that arise closer and more open that you ever expected, shouldnât be a problem.
See around, ask.

Colleagues, use the porcelain shaded to the shade requested by your doctor, trying to match 3D shades with other powders is madness.

I'd be interested to know what is defined as a "remake" in your laboratory. Is it when a case is returned...See more for a TOTAL remake or when a case is returned for whatever reason, including shade changes, add contacts, or any type of adjustments. I hear other labs talk about things like "3% remakes" in their labs and my mind immediately springs into action as to what they are factoring in. I'd like to hear multiple points of view on this. TIA for your input.

Dentists ask me how they can become busy in this economy. First off they thing that taking insurance...See more is a bad thing. The booming-est dentist office I do work with take UPMC and other local dental insurance. They are not giving out charity. But I am available for shades on complex anterior all ceramic restorations.
Or Overdenture fabrications. I do it all almost all my self. I f I did not tak e the chance an d do this on my own and learn this business from ground up I'd be ground up.
