When it comes to profitability I would say this: Compete on value NOT price.
Ask yourself "How can I...See more bring more value, service, convenience, assurance, speed, or novelty to the service I am offering?"
This is how you can set yourself apart. This is how you can prevent your service from becoming a commodity, and how you can make your business engaging.
You are only limited by your imagination.

I am looking for ceramists, customer service/technical representatives, removable techs, and sales reps...See more at my lab in Memphis, TN. We just moved into a brand-new building and are in growth mode. Message me if you are interested.
End of May and another trade show season down! A couple of notable differences between this year and...See more previous years:
First off LMT - you just keep getting better and better! The venues are looking better and more professional every year. Love the registration through the bridge for future cross marketing and speeding up the check in process at the venue. Eric keeps taking this to the next level on the web making the bridge a go to reference for all things LMT - great work. Booking and finding dates for trade shows was always a challenge before the bridge.
The other major factor is the industry - WOW! We've never had so many sales post trade show in such a short period of time! Thank you to all the enthusiastic lab owners that see the value in Evident. We've booked more on site training and sold more modules than previous years! I think the US is charging back into growth and Evident is happy to take them there!
Great to meet up with so many friends at all the trade shows. I haven't ever considered this work because the trade show is basically a party with so many great folks! For those in Texas, see you later this year and for our very persistent friends attending the Vision 21 meeting in January - see you then.
Thanks again everyone.
Within the reassurance of new technologies coming into the market of Dental Technology, we are testing...See more new products without even finishing the last batch that different companies are kindly supplying us to optimize and maximize our reputation and our passion for teeth, as Dental Technicians and Laboratories.
Which will be the factor that really alters the buying decision towards a prospective element in the lab on in the dental office?
What about the sales representatives that try to convince or sale the new or better said, renovated products that are already making their marks in the industry?
The reality comes to âhow much will you sell it forâ and not on â how good is it for youâ. Not trying to apply and individual concept or mentality, not trying to sell a product specifically, nor a new crazy idea that will suffice the need for need vendors, markets or training on people.
This new simple adventure will not only commercialize a dental product in an even greater opportunity, but instead, will supply the personnel on this new era of the Dental world, with a fresh new vision.
Today, most of the more knowledgeable technicians, dentist, surgeons and else could probably be âbaby boomersâ, am I wrong? If so, then the time to start covering the sun with not only one finger but all of the thumbs in the world, needs to begin.
What are the real concerns that as career empowering elements in the Dental society, without relevance of which branch we are practicing, are afraid of?
Is it the lack of communication between peers?, is it the lack of understanding of the purpose?, or maybe the unbalanced salaries across the field?
What about the ego of those who want to grab all and like sand, just bypass thru their fingers? What about my own incompetency to share the knowledge that so hard have been accrued thru the years and manifested at the moment that âEVERYTHING is going BANANASâ?
Is it really fear?, self steam?, selfishness?,â IDEOCRACYâ orâ MEDIOCRAZYâ?, blindness?. What else? I cannot continue, I cannot know.
Once upon a time the opportunity to enjoy life with so many commodities, was overrated. President Washington was suffering of a misery smile. I know, I know, who am I to judge it right?. Well is true. Now days you get a mismatched shade on a temporary crown and the expressions are, to be decent, âjust looks awfulâ.
The misunderstanding between relaxed and stress has not been properly understand by the ones involved.
We canât plan to change the ârules of engagementâ within the field, yet, trying to open up the opportunities that arise closer and more open that you ever expected, shouldnât be a problem.
See around, ask.
