DWS SRL offers seven high performance Digitalwax D 3D printers, from the DW030D for larger labs to the dfab for dentists. Starting with an .stl file, a laser source emits ultraviolet rays to solidify a proprietary photosensitive resin layer by layer. The company’s resins are developed for a variety of applications: the RF series for high definition crowns, bridges and partials; the RD series for digital impression models; the DS series for surgical guides (class IA) and 3D medical models; and Temporis®, a biocompatible material (class IIA) for long-term provisionals.
