I had an inspiring visit yesterday with Owners Matthew Neighbors (far left) and Zar Cayton (far right) and some members of the staff of Highland Dental Laboratory in Albuquerque yesterday. Inspiring because they opened the lab two years ago, after struggling with how to navigate through the economic climate of 2007-2010. Originally a removables only lab, they decided to expand to include C&B, bought a 3Shape scanner and hired who they determined to be the best technicians they could to produce the excellence in quality and timeliness they needed. They've since seen 300% growth and are hopping. It was the power of their intention, Zar says, "that, and a bit of luck. We wanted this and became proactive. You have to see what you want in your mind's eye to make it happen." And they did. Watch for more about Highland in an upcoming issue of LMT and stay tuned here for more Revelations from the Road. We spent today in Santa Fe (love it there!). Next stop: Fountain Hills via Gallup, NM and Sedona, another of my favorite hang outs.
