... so I took the crank to my 1950 John Deere B to the tractor dealer to have it sent out for machineing. The guy behind the counter took a piece of paper and drew a triangle. On the top corner he wrote "quality work" - on the right corner he wrote " reasonable price" and on the left "fast service"....See more He said, " pick two and I'll know which machine shop to send it to." He added, "Everyone wants to pick all three, but that's impossible- it doesn't work that way". I don't know if that idea came from the Wharton School of Business or if that was sage farmer experience talking, but it got me thinkin' ...
