Curating content is not simply aggregating it and serving it up for your audience to analyze or find answers themselves. It’s about picking the most relevant and useful information on a topic, adding your insights and commentary, and making it easy for your audience to make a decision or enhance their understanding of that topic. To put your own stamp on the content you’ve curated, you can supplement or combine it with an existing post, infographic or video of your own. Curation is taking a lot of good things and packing them into one better thing.

The main purpose of curation in a museum is to deliver educative value. Another purpose is to influence some aspect of the visitor’s attitude or values stemming from his/her discovery of some meaning in the objects on display, a discovery stimulated and sustained by the visitor’s confidence in the perceived authenticity of the content (Lord & Piacente, Manual of Museum Exhibitions,...

The industry is abuzz with questions and concerns about the FDA’s newest statement on in-lab milling of implant abutments (see NADL alert below). Watch for additional coverage in LMT.
From NADL:FDA Alert - Labs not permitted to use CAD/CAM for in-lab milling of most abutments
When FDA began studying the use of CAD/CAM in dental laboratory technology, the FDA’s initial focus was on angulation and the implant/abutment interface. FDA ultimately made clear statements that anyone making the implant/abutment interface is a "manufacturer" as such must obtain 510(k) clearance to do so.
That still did not answer the questions about the “tooth end” of the abutment, the abutment collar/post. Sometime later FDA ultimately stated a dental laboratory may mill the collar/post as long as the dental laboratory follows the manufacturer's FDA cleared instructions.
Now, nearly two years later, there is still only one manufacturer that has obtained FDA clearance for their in-lab CAD/CAM...
