Ivoclar Vivadent announces that effective immediately, Sarah Anders has been promoted to the new position of Sr. Vice President of North America Sales. In this role, Ms. Anders will be responsible for all sales operations in the US and Canada, working with and being supported by Pierre Lamoure, VP of Clinical Sales US, Wayne Ledford, VP of Technical Sales US, and Craig Garner, Director of Inside Sales. Ms. Anders also will retain her title as General Manager of Ivoclar Vivadent Canada.
“Our clinical and technical sales have grown extremely well, but as companies grow rapidly and expand their base, it becomes necessary to create a structure which provides a more effective level of communication and coordination,” said Robert Ganley CEO of Ivoclar Vivadent. “This management change and Ms. Anders’ new position will strengthen Ivoclar Vivadent and its ready ability to maintain Operational Excellence that supports growth and success in 2014 and beyond.”
Since joining Ivoclar Vivadent in 2003 as Marketing Manager, All Ceramics, Ms. Anders has demonstrated strong leadership skills, excellent strategic planning, and strong budget and forecasting expertise. She launched new all ceramic brands and products such as IPS e.max, and in 2005, was promoted to Senior Marketing Manager, All Ceramics. In 2007, Ms. Anders assumed the roles of Director of Technical Marketing and Director of Canadian Operations, where she managed and developed the areas of alloys, metal ceramics, and removables. Following her promotion in 2009 to Vice President, Ms. Anders assumed full responsibility for the company’s Canadian business. In 2013, she was also recognized by Dental Products Report as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in Dentistry.
