Dental Wings introduced its first intraoral 3D scanner. The lightweight DWIO (Dental Wings Intra-Oral) is similar in size to existing dental handpieces and features Multiscan Imaging™ 3D scanning technology that allows for five LED projectors and 10 cameras in a very small scanning tip and captures data from many angles at once. A luminescent ring on the handpiece as well as audible signals indicate when scan data is successfully captured allowing the clinician to stay focused in the mouth while scanning. The DWOS platform allows seamless connection between laboratory and dentist.
