"Nobel Biocare is deeply committed to patient care and the dental technology profession and making the technician's job as easy as possible," said Richard Laube, Nobel Biocare CEO, during his opening remarks to the 400 technicians at Dental Technician Day, part of the company's Global Symposium 2013 in New York City in June.
The Symposium marked the official inauguration of the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation (FOR)â€”Nobel Biocare's international initiative to promote oral healthcare and humanitarian leadership and its interactive website. Bertrand Piccard (left) was awarded the first FOR Humanity Award in recognition of his Winds of Hope Foundation; on the right is Philippe Rathle, Director of the Winds of Hope Foundation.
During the press conference, Hans Geiselhöringer, MDT, Executive Vice President Global Research, Products and Development at Nobel Biocare, announced several new products and developments, including a fully integrated digital workflow, the next-generation NobelProcera 2G Scanner and the NobelProcera Angulated Screw Channel (ASC) Abutment Concept.
