With over 33 years of experience in the field of dentistry, Prof. Nicholas Manos began his career with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry, followed by an A.A.S. in Dental Laboratory Technology, and M.S. in Higher Educational Administration. Prof. Manos additionally earned his CDT certification in Complete Dentures, Crown & Bridge, and CDT Technologist title. Prof. Manos was the Chairperson of the Department of Restorative Dentistry for 17 years at NYCCT, chaired numerous nation wide dental committees, curriculum consultant and staff representative for the ADA, former President and Clinic Director of the Greater New York CDT Study Group and recipient of the Educator of the Year Award from the Dental Laboratory Association of New York. Additionally, he holds memberships in NADL, LIDLA, NGS, DLANY, National Denturist Association, and The Greater New York CDT Study Group. Currently, Prof. Manos is a full time Professor instructing in the areas of morphology, gnathology, ceramics, dental materials, lab management, ethics and jurisprudence.
Renata Budny is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at New York City College of Technology. She earned an A.A.S. in Dental Laboratory Technology from New York City College of Technology, a B.B.A. in Management and an M.B.A. in Banking and Finance from Dowling College. Prof. Budny is a Master Dental Technician and a Certified Dental Technician in Crown & Bridge and Ceramics. She also holds a CDT Technologist title. Prof. Budny is the President and Clinical Director for the Greater New York CDT Study Group and a member of Long Island Dental Laboratory Association, Dental Laboratory Association of New York, American Society of Master Dental Technologists, and Northeastern Gnathological Society. Prof. Budny is an instructor in crown & bridge, ceramics and occlusion.
